Vada – White beach (Spiagge bianche)

In one hour you’ll reach a peace of coast famous because of Castiglioncello and unusual because of the White beach. The reason of the unusual color of the sand is the influence of an industrial activity about years of production of bicarbonate from a farm 1 km. far from the coast, Rosignano Solvay.
The Spiagge Bianche (white beach) is free. At south, near Vada, you can find a service point to rent chairs, umbrella, shower and a small bar.
White beach are organized with paid parking for the car, but free for bikers.
On that seaside people use to go with sails, windsurf and kite-surf, for this reason during all the season you’ll find a lot of youth.
Traffic: during the week no problem of traffic jam.
During the week end of the high season (june, july, august) you have to leave before 8 a.m. and return before the 4 p.m.
